Torbjörn Lundqvist 2006

Arbetsrapport 2006 nr.7

The article studies how the ideas of a sustainable society have developed and adapted to Swedish politics between the years 1988-2004. Social democratic welfare ideology seems to have given its imprint in the rhetoric of a sustainable society. However, the idea has been obtained in party ideology from left to right and been adapted to traditional ideological differences—being an issue that seems common on the surface, but controversial on a party level.
