Den amerikanska tidskriften Choice: Current Reviews for Academic Libraries har utsett boken Population Aging and the Generational Economy (red: Ronald Lee, Andrew Mason) till Outstanding Academic Title 2012. Ett av bidragen i boken ”Intergenerational redistribution in Sweden’s public and privat sectors” är författat av ett forskarlag på Institutet för Framtidsstudier; Daniel Hallberg, Thomas Lindh, Gustav Öberg och Charlotte Thulstrup.
Boken valdes ut bland de bäst recenserade titlarna under 2012. Choice Magazine publicerar varje år cirka 7 000 recensioner.
