Work in transformation: Justice in production and AI (pilot study)

How should the benefits and burdens of work be distributed in a future where automation reshapes our working life?

The project examines how AI is changing working life and the equity issues this raises. The starting point is that work not only provides income, but also meaning, social context and the opportunity to develop skills.

The aim is to develop a theory of fair production: how the benefits and burdens of work should be distributed when AI-based automation reshapes working life. The feasibility study will lead to an application for a four-year research project and includes a literature review, a research seminar, work on the project application and a policy document for politicians, social partners and other relevant actors.
