Olle Risberg

I am a researcher at the Department of Philosophy at Uppsala University, Sweden, and at the Institute for Futures Studies in Stockholm. My research focuses on questions concerning the conceptual and epistemological foundations of our value judgments.

During 2024–2029 I will be a Pro Futura Scientia fellow at Uppsala University and at the Swedish Collegium of Advanced Study. My work during this time will focus on understanding gradability (or "matters of degree") in value contexts.

At IFFS I am active in the research project Hidden Convergence in Ethics, which aims to explore and assess the idea that the most plausible versions of the leading ethical theories—consequentialism, deontology, etc.—are increasingly becoming more similar to each other. I am also one of the Editors-in-Chief of Filosofisk tidskrift and one of the hosts of Filosofisk podcast.
