Date: 31 October 2013
Welcome to a seminar where we present the newest results from World Values Survey, the world's largest survey on values and cultural changes.
The results concern several countries in the Middle East, Africa and Central Asia. This seminar will focus on questions concerning democracy. How do for example people in Egypt regard their possibilities of making their voice heard? How do their answers relate to what we know about the situation through media? How do they look upon the future? These are questions that will be discussed at the seminar by among others Bi Puranen – Secretary General at the World Values Survey, Pippa Norris – one of the world's leading researchers on electoral integrity and Göran Rosenberg – Swedish writer and journalist.
The seminar will be partly in Swedish, partly in English.
Location: Spårvagnshallarna, Birger Jarlsgatan 57A in Stockholm
Time: October 31, 13–16. Coffee 13.00–13.30
