The purpose and objective of the project is to inspire and offer guidance toward more vivid Swedish texts written by researchers at the country’s universities. Through free courses, seminars, and workshops focused on the techniques and thinking of writing, researchers with an interest in text and form are offered professionally guided further training aimed at future book writing and essayistic work.
The initiative is funded by the Natur & Kultur Foundation and means that Swedish university departments are offered free writing coaching with the author Magnus Linton during 2021. The project is aimed at both junior and senior researchers at all Swedish higher education institutions. During spring and autumn 2021, 15 interactive workshops on writing will be held, as well as 30 inspiring lectures on the techniques and challenges of storytelling, and in November a two-day writing school will be arranged in Stockholm.
Interest may be high and time is the only limitation, so get in touch in good time, on a first come, first served basis. Travel expenses are also, within certain limits, covered by Natur & Kultur’s grant.
