Migration and Wage Inequality – Economic Effects of Migration to and within Sweden, 1993-2003

Martin Korpi 2008

This paper addresses the questions of whether immigration and domestic migration contribute to changes in wage inequality over time, and if so, which parts of the income distribution these changes are associated with. Moreover, it looks at what the correlates of changes in inequality are, and whether ethnic and educational background of the migrant population matters.
