I am professor in political theory and director of the Centre for the experimental-philosophical study of discrimination (CEPDISC) at University of Aarhus, Denmark.
In recent years, I have worked mostly on relational egalitarianism, standing to blame, and, of course, discrimination where, inter alia, I try to combine (standard) philosophical and experimental approaches.
My two most recent books are Wrongful Discrimination (Cambridge University Press, 2025) and The Mote and the Beam (Oxford University Press, 2023). Presently (2025), I am working on a book on poverty discrimination co-authored with Bastian Steuwer (Ashoka University).
