I am a climate scientist, and senior lecturer at the department of meteorology at Stockholm University. My research focuses on clouds and aerosols, and their interaction with each other and with the climate and environment. I use theory and observations to evaluate and improve computer models of the climate system, in order to better understand past and present climate, and make more accurate projections of future climate.

I am also interested in philosophy of science, and particularly the role of values, in production and communication of climate science.

At IFFS, I am currently involved in the project Sustainable population in the time of climate change.
