Open seminar

Is there room for everyone within Swedish labor market policy?

Date: 4 July 2013
Time: 8.30-9.45

The labor market has changed in recent decades, demanding a high level of education. Meanwhile, a high percentage of the individuals who have sought refuge in Sweden the past two years have been to school for less than nine years.

Have labor market policies aimed at new arrivals been adjusted to fit the changes in the labor market? What do the Employment Service and the local governments do, and can they do more?

Welcome to a conversation between researchers, investigators and policy makers about the conditions for newcomers stepping into the job market, and stay there.

Time: Thursday the 4th of July, at 8.30–9.45 am. Breakfast will be served from 8.00 am.

Place: Café H10, Hästgatan 10 in Visby, Gotland.

The seminar will be held in Swedish.
