We, Mats Bigert and Lars Bergström, are a Stockholm-based artist duo and have been working together since 1986. The core of our artistic practice is placed at the point of intersection of humanity, nature and technology. By merging research with artistic approach and a pinch of humour, our installations, large-scale sculptures, films or performances focus on the most topical environmental and social issues of today. At the Institute for Futures Studies we participate in a research project on climate ethics: Tipping Point—visualization of the complex connection between our decisions today and the living conditions for future generations.
