This study looks at political integration of ethnic minorities through examining the resources, motivation and recruitment networks of ethnic associations, and how these influence collectively organised political participation. The results indicate that participation in ethnic associations vary according to a multitude of factors, and members’ proficiency in the Swedish language is not important in this respect.
