Thematic Group on Inclusion in Working Life (TIA)

The Institute for Futures Studies has been responsible for the Thematic Group on Inclusion in Working Life (TIA) since February 1, 2012. The role of TIA is to gather experiences, knowledge, and results from projects that are financed by the European Social Fund (ESF), with an aim to identify and disseminate positive methods of inclusion for individuals and groups that are outside of the labor market.

Previously TIA’s research was carried out by the research institute REMESO at the University of Linköping, where the analyses were mainly qualitative. To supplement and strengthen their work, the Institute of Futures Studies is primarily focusing on quantitative analysis and our research is also mainly targeted towards individuals of foreign origin.
